I wrote, “Dear Jim: I loved your card.” Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.” That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything. He saw it, he loved it, he ate it.”

when people say, do something with your life, what exactly is doing something with your life? we all eventually die anyway so does it really matter what we do while we’re alive? does it make you any better than me because you’ve traveled around and spent most of your hours working in a ‘good job’ the thing is it doesn’t matter what I’m doing now, I enjoy myself, that’s what counts.
